Sabine Bubeck-Paaz is a Senior Commissioning Editor at the German Public TV Broadcaster ZDF, where she deals with diverse documentary slots on ARTE, the European Culture Channel. Within the editorial department “ZDF/ARTE Culture and Music,” she mostly co-produces documentary films (52minutes and feature length) for the ARTE documentary slots: Visual Arts, Culture, Music, Pop-Culture, Cinema Documentary, and the show “La Lucarne.” Some of her recent titles are “Hidden Letters, ““Obsessed by Light,” “Call me Dancer,” “Can Creativity Save The World?”, “Christo and Jeanne-Claude,” “Leftover Women”. Many of her international co-productions have been honored with awards and some, such as “The Act of Killing,” “The Look of Silence,” and “Spectres of Shoah,” were nominated for the Oscars. Sabine Bubeck-Paaz is also tutoring at various documentary development initiatives.
