MIA, the Rome Film Festival and Alice nella Città have joined forces to offer films greater visibility within the international industry and provide MIA-accredited buyers with an extensive programme of screenings.
Taking place alongside Rome’s major film events, MIA serves as a strategic industry hub, creating additional opportunities for film discovery, networking and business.
As part of this renewed collaboration, MIA-accredited buyers will have access to selected Rome Film Festival press and industry screenings and Alice nella Città screenings taking place during MIA, from October 19 to 23, 2026.
SCREENING VENUES & ACCESS
Rome Film Festival press and industry screenings take place in the mornings at the Auditorium Parco della Musica (Sala Sinopoli, Sala Petrassi and Sala Gianni Borgna) and MAXXI Museum.
Alice nella Città screenings available to MIA-accredited buyers are scheduled in the afternoons at Cinema Quattro Fontane and Teatro Sistina.
Access to these screenings is reserved exclusively for MIA Buyer badge holders, subject to seat availability.
To ensure the best possible access, we strongly recommend arriving at the screening venues well ahead of the scheduled starting times:
- Auditorium Parco della Musica, Teatro Sistina and Cinema Quattro Fontane: please arrive at least 30 minutes before the screening starts.
- MAXXI Museum: please arrive at least 15 minutes before the screening starts.
GETTING TO THE SCREENINGS
Cinema Quattro Fontane and Teatro Sistina are both within walking distance of Piazza Barberini, where MIA is based.
The Auditorium Parco della Musica and MAXXI Museum are located further away, so please allow sufficient travel time when planning your screening schedule.
A dedicated shuttle service will operate between MIA and the Auditorium Parco della Musica. We encourage buyers to take travel times into account when planning screenings and meetings across the different venues.
