Italians Doc It Better facilitates the circulation of new Italian documentaries by providing producers with a platform to present their projects and secure international distribution.
This exclusive showcase selects Italian feature-length films, docuseries, and tv one-off aiming for distribution abroad in cinemas, on television, or on streaming platforms. The projects selected at Italians Doc It Better are in post-production, rough cuts, or completed but not yet presented or screened in other markets, festivals, showcases, cinemas, TV, or platforms.
Starting this year, Italians Doc It Better, which has over time become the leading international showcase for Italian documentaries, will exclusively feature world industry premieres. This choice aims to enhance the strategic partnership with the GEDI Digital, which will again this year present the GEDI Visual Award to the best title in the program, offering unprecedented media coverage for a documentary produced in Italy.
