Giovanni Luca Gargano has started filming Rapiscimi (Kidnap me): this is the first work by the young director who had experience in television industry, both in Rai and Mediaset. The film is a co-production between Italy (Alba Produzioni, Arbalak) and Portugal (Check The Gate) in collaboration with MiBACT and the RTP (the Portuguese TV Network). After making a mess in their town, four unemployed guys are forced to flee and decide to start a ‘brilliant’ business: they want to open an agency which organises fake kidnappings for rich people looking for new emotions.
The script is written by Alessandro Pondi, Vincenzo Di Rosa, Umberto Carteni, Paolo Logli and Giovanni Luca Gargano. Pietro Delle Piane, Paolo Cutuli, Carmelo Caccamo, Vincenzo De Rosa, Rocco Barbaro, Alexia Degremont, Massimo Olcese, Paulo Pires and Virgilio Castelo are the cast members. Whale Pictures will distribute the film.
