Jaume Ripoll is the co-founder and editorial director of Filmin, the most prominent streaming platform for independent films and series in Spain and Portugal, founded 16 years ago. With a catalog of over 15,000 titles, Filmin is a European reference for the breadth and quality of its collection. It is the distributor in Spain for the latest winners of the Venice (All the beauty and the bloodshed), Berlin (On the adamant), and Cannes (Anatomy of a fall) festivals. Jaume Ripoll serves as a producer for Filmin Originals, the successful original productions of Filmin, which include “Autodefensa” (Best Series, SeriesMania Lille). Since 2010, Jaume Ripoll has been directing the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest, the most successful hybrid festival in Europe, with the last edition surpassing 750,000 spectators. In addition to his work as a university professor, Jaume Ripoll has just published his memoir, “Videoclub” (Penguin Random House).
