Izabela is a Commissioning Editor for Drama and Animation at RTS ( Radio Télévision Suisse ) since 2016. Closely working with independent production companies to develop creative ideas, she oversees shows from conception to broadcast for the RTS Drama Unit. Her recent work includes Minor Offense / Alva Films (6 x 52’) a thriller starring Marie Gillain, Noémie Schmidt and Assa Sylla, written by Jacqueline Surchat and co-written and directed by Nicole Borgeat.
Izabela’s upcoming coproduction includes Sauvages ! director’s Claude Barras latest stop-motion animated feature after the acclaimed My Life as a Zucchini ( 2016 ) and the animated series “ Les Enquêtes de Maëlys ” ( 30 x 11’ ) with Nadasdy Films.
Previously she has been working as an independent animator and filmmaker, an acquisition and programming executive until reaching Head of the RTS Children Unit in 2011, where she also worked as a producer for unscripted television shows and as a commissioning editor for animated series and animated features.
