Eva Åkergren joined Nordisk Film Production in 2018 as producer. Before that she freelanced for many years as Line Producer, Production Manager and Post Producer. She worked with several award-winning films such as Border (2018) by Ali Abbasi, Beyond Dreams (2017) by Rojda Sekersöz, Tigers (2020) by Ronnie Sandahl and with nordic crime series such as Wallander (2009) and Maria Wern (2010).
She line produced Sami Blood (2017) by Amanda Kernell and the first feature she produced was Charter (2020) also by Kernell and after came Diorama (2022) by Tuva Novotny. She was co-producer on Holy Spider (2022) by Ali Abbasi which competed in the Official Selection in Cannes and on Unruly (2022) by Malou Reymann which premiered at Toronto.
Today she has several projects in different stages of development and she is co-producing
Gustav Möller’s new feature Vogter which will be premiered in 2024.
