Green Film Lab‘s goal is to train film professionals on green practices in film production. From applying a green protocol to obtaining the certification that attests to it. The third 2022 workshop, which will take place in Sitges, Spain, from Oct. 14-16 and for which applications can be submitted until Sept. 1, will also go in this direction.

This edition of Green Film Lab will be in collaboration with the Government of Catalonia, the Catalan Institute for Cultural Enterprises, Catalunya Film Commission and Servei de Desenvolupament Empresarial.

A workshop aimed at film professionals who want, among other things, to gain skills on how to apply best practices in terms of environmental sustainability by working on concrete projects and sustainability plans. In fact, participants will learn how to apply their sustainability skills on set, working in collaboration with film producers.

The one in October is the third edition following the ones held in Trento from April 29 to May 1 in collaboration with Green Film and Trentino Film Commission, and in Palma de Mallorca from July 28 to 31, with the collaboration of Mallorca Film Commission, Fundació Mallorca Turisme and Consell Insular de Mallorca.

Each edition is open to a maximum of 24 participants who will work in teams through the guidance of industry mentors with experience in the film industry.
