The FVG Audiovisual Fund kicked off its second call for applications 2021 on June 3, for which applications can be submitted until Friday, July 2, 2021.

Financed by the Department of Productive Activities of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regionthe FVG Audiovisual Fund, establishes for the second time the call for entry 2021, which aims to support the development of local companies operating in the audiovisual production sector, favouring the qualification of the related professional resources. 

Also this year the budget will amount to 850.000 € and thanks to this second call for entry 2021, the Regional Administration will be able to grant contributions to independent production companies, based in Friuli Venezia Giulia, up to a maximum of 50% of the eligible expenditure for training, project development and distribution of audiovisual products intended for the regional, national and international market; leaving the beneficiary to guarantee the rest of the funding. In the case of scholarships, the contribution may be up to 90%.

Regarding training, it refers to the participation in national and European training courses for professionals in the audiovisual sector with grants for individuals or for companies to their employees.

Project development will include all activities between the idea and the production of the audiovisual product, such as project writing, research, casting, surveys, acquisition of rights, legal assistance, search for possible fundings, contacts for distribution and production of a promo.

Finally, as regards the distribution of audiovisual products intended for the regional, national and international markets, it should be emphasised that it will include not only the promotion and marketing of the works produced and their distribution at festivals, shows and awards dedicated to the sector, but also greater financial availability during production, in order to make the product more competitive.
