Also this year, ANICA participates in to the Venice International Film Festival, at its 77th edition.

From 5th to 7th September, in the splendid setting of the Hotel Excelsior on the Lido of Venice, the Focus on China and Focus on India events will take place.

They’ll start on Sunday, with Focus on China. The event, opened by Roberto Stabile, Head of International Department of ANICA and ITA Audiovisual Desks Coordinator, Manlio Di Stefano, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation – Italian Government and Francesco Rutelli, President of ANICA and Coordinator of the Italy-China Cultural Forum, aims to refine the collaboration between China and Italy in the film industry and will see a long series of national and international speakers on stage.

On September 7, Focus on India will begin, opened by the same speakers on Saturday, joined by Vincenzo De Luca, Ambassador of Italy to India, and Maria Giuseppina Troccoli, Head of Cinema and Audiovisual Department – DG Cinema of MiBACT. The event wants to recount the life and opportunities that can be offered by the thriving Indian film industry.
