The European Film Awards ceremony was held in Berlin on December 9. Winning the most awards (best film, best director, best editing, best screenplay, and best actress to Sandra Hüller) was the film Anatomy of a Fall by Justine Triet.

This year’s jury consisted of Matteo Cocco, director of photography (Italy), editor Mdhamiri Á Nkemi (UK), set designer Maria Shub (Ukraine), costume designer Armaveni Stoyanova (Bulgaria), makeup artist Eglė Mikalauskaitė (Lithuania), sound designer Gina Keller (Switzerland), composer Zviad Mgebry (Georgia), and special effects supervisor Mårten Larsson (Sweden). Italy was awarded the prize for best set design to Emita Frigato for Alice Rohrwacher’s La Chimera.
