Two of the new calls for applications for the Selective Grants line have come out. As for 2024, the calls for proposals will be divided into two sessions that will allow the submission of applications.
The two Calls in question are: the Call for Selective Grants for the Writing, Development and Production of Film and Audiovisual Works – Year 2024.
The Call for Selective Grants for the Production of Feature Film Works of Special Artistic Quality – Year 2024.
The first session for sending applications will open from September 17 and close on October 7. The second will run from November 19 to December 9.
The breakdown of the allocated amount reports, this year, some novelties for the call for writing: among them the increase of resources for the sub-lines of intervention: “Young Authors” (7.8 million euros), “First and Second Works” (7.5 million euros), “Documentaries” (3.6 million euros).
24 million euros are also allocated to finance the production of works on characters and events of Italian cultural identity, with reference to cinematographic works (21 million euros) and documentaries (3 million euros).
