The call for supporting the production of cinematographic and audiovisual works by national, European, and non-European companies in Emilia-Romagna will close on February 29th. The total budget for 2024 is 1.35 million euros.
In particular, this first round provides a financial allocation of 700,000 euros and grants contributions to support the production of works made at least partially in the regional territory.
Among the novelties of the 2024 call, we find support for the promotion of supported works, the need to promote collaboration with quality projects relevant to the territory, even if not characterized by high economic impact, through a reduced contribution for those cinematographic and television works that only have 6 shooting days in the region. Also, special attention is given to supporting musical authors from the region, reducing territorial obligations to 20% of expenses or footage if proven by a deal memo attached to the application and simplifying the administrative obligations on companies, eliminating the start and end activity communications from the project management.
