Italian Culture Minister Alessandro Giuli announced that the opening of the new platform for receiving tax credit applications is very close.
This is how Giuli responded to the question time of the PD group held yesterday 25 September 2024 at Montecitorio Palace.
The minister stressed the importance of the tax credit instrument for the film and audiovisual sector, but also dwelt on the need not to disperse it too simplistically.
In particular, Giuli referred to films that have benefited from the tax credit in recent years but have not been as successful as hoped.
The minister also stated that in the coming days the directorial decrees aimed at defining the technical specifications necessary to safely launch the tax credit will be made public.
