With a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Elodie Mellado has been part of the team at Filmin, the Catalan distribution company and VOD platform, since 2012, where she serves as Managing Editor and programmer specialising in animation cinema.

From 2020 to 2025, she programmed for REC, the International Film Festival of Tarragona, and in 2022 she joined the team of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Film Festival, curating the Panorama España section. She also programmed Japanimerama, the first cycle dedicated to anime at the Filmoteca de Catalunya.
