Unindustria and the Rome and Lazio Film Commission Foundation have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen collaboration between businesses and the audiovisual sector. The agreement aims to consolidate the industry and attract investments.

One of the main goals is to host an Emmy Awards stop in Rome next November, with a dedicated steering committee. The agreement also includes training programs, support for internationalization, and specific grants for the sector.

“The audiovisual sector generates over 6.7 billion euros for Lazio,” says Giuseppe Biazzo, President of Unindustria. “This agreement strengthens the industry and gives international visibility to our productions.”

Lidia Cudemo of Unindustria highlights the agreement’s value for the growth of the creative sector, while Maria Giuseppina Troccoli of the Film Commission Foundation emphasizes the support for businesses through internationalization initiatives and regional funding.

Lorenza Lei from the Lazio Region reaffirms the institution’s commitment to supporting the sector with strategic investments. Lazio thus confirms itself as a European hub for the audiovisual industry, focusing on innovation and training for sector growth.
