Rai’s Board of Directors has unanimously approved the introduction of the new Organizational Model by Genres, looking at the digital restart as focus of the Public Service.
A total of ten Genres directorates will produce content both for Rai’s first three channels and for the digital platform RaiPlay.
As reported in the press release, the directorates will be: prime time entertainment, daytime entertainment, culture and educational, documentaries, drama, sport, cinema, in-depth analysis content, kids and RaiPlay content. In addition, content will be diversified according to the target audience and the individual editorial profiles that will be adopted.
The new organizational model represents not only the major break with the past, but also a fundamental turning point for the company, allowing it to accelerate the process of digital transformation.
The transaction will be concluded once the next summer schedule is launched, which will be fully planned by the Genre departments.
