Starting today, Friday, November 8, the city of Lecce will host the fifteenth edition of the Apulia Film Forum of Apulia Film Commission, three days of activities during which the eight selected Apulian projects will be presented through One-to-one meetings to the European producers present, thus having the opportunity to test the projects in their development phase and, above all, to get in touch with potential co-financiers.
“Created with the aim of fostering meetings and partnerships between Apulian companies and international producers and stakeholders,” comments Anna Maria Tosto president of Apulia Film Commission, “the Apulia Film Forum is registering an ever-increasing interest from entities and associations in the audiovisual world. The 2024 edition sees the partnership of the European Producers Club and represents the first moment of a collaboration that we hope will continue in the future in view of an increasingly prestigious positioning of Apulian companies. In the beautiful setting of the city of Lecce, we count on the Forum to be an opportunity for the selected projects and new partners to meet, and for the realization of film works in our region.”
The eight feature films are: “The Border” by Antonio Palumbo (The Piranesi Experience production), “The United Nations of Radio Bari” by Massimo Ruggiero (Oz Film production), “Paradise” by Antonio De Palo (Beagle Media production), “Kriminal Kats” by Alfredo Fiorillo (Draka Productions – L’age d’or production); “The Thirteenth Man” by Mario Bucci (Dinamo Film production), “Taras” by Paola Verardi (Pharos Film Company production), “Cumbà” by Andrea Simonetti (Brandos Film production) and “Let the Flames Burn” by Orazio Guarino (Naffin Tu Si production).
