Since joining Embracer Group in 2018, our growth has accelerated and we have become increasingly layered to reflect the evolving nature of our business in terms of not only content, but also geography as we continue our expansion around the world. We chose our new name to better represent who we are and the journey we are on.”

Plaion also acts in the gaming arena, operating a multi-label strategy with wholly owned publishing units including Deep Silver, Prime Matter, Milestone, Vertigo Games and Ravenscourt, which publish games for consoles, PC and VR platforms across all physical and digital channels.

Kundratitz added, “Our new name gives us the opportunity to consolidate our rich history as a publishing partner and our exceptional and growing network of development studios worldwide, to continue to provide premium service to our partners, to highlight our ambition as a global player in entertainment, but also to reinvent ourselves. Our vision is to support and inspire our teams and partners around the world, unlocking their full potential. Our mission is to deliver unique entertainment experiences and create a deep connection with our customers, connecting them to our content in any way we can. Our industry is incredibly dynamic, our customers’ and partners’ expectations are constantly evolving, and we recognize this. Relying on our solid foundation as we embrace change will provide something new, something better. As Plaion, we want to continue to build on years of success, striving for more, much more.
