Today, the Lionsgate Television Group Chairman Kevin Beggs gave an exclusive interview at MIA Market 2019. The talk, moderated by the journalist and film festival consultant Wendy Mitchell, offered an exciting debate on the results and future of the group, where the chairman also revealed big projects currently being developed along with Apple TV.

Since his entrance into Lionsgate in 1998, Beggs has turned the group into one of the main premium content creators in the streaming market services and networks. Lionsgate has a vast catalog of almost seventy shows, available on a wide array of platforms, such as Orange Is the New Black (Netflix); Dear White People (Netflix); The Rook (Starz); Step Up: Higher Water (YouTube Premium); The Wendy Williams Show; Greenleaf (OWN) and Kevin Hart: What the Fit (YouTube).

Lionsgate’s slate currently includes several high-profile proposals, such as Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet for Apple, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist for NBC, Love Life, anthology romantic comedy for HBO Max with Anna Kendrick, and also Dangerous Liaisons and The Continental, John Wick’s spin-off for Starz.
