Minister of Culture Dario Franceschini has decided to send an open letter to the Prime Minister Mario Draghi and to the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza asking for more flexibility on the rules regulating access to cultural shows.

The Ministry of Culture press release states: “I ask you to consider the possibility of regulating access to cinemas, theaters and concert halls and participation in live shows by providing, for spectators, the requirement to hold a valid “green pass” and, without prejudice to the obligation to wear a mask for the duration of the event, to also consider the possibility of reviewing the measures of interpersonal distancing, allowing a wider use of the capacities of the spaces”.

To date, the capacity allowed for such events cannot be greater than 50% of that authorized for the individual hall, and there is in any case a limit of 1000 spectators for outdoor shows and 500 for those in closed places.
