Gaetano Blandini, Secretary General of ANICA, has been appointed by the Association’s Presidential Council as the new CEO of Anica Servizi.
ANICA President Alessandro Usai expressed great satisfaction with Blandini’s new role, emphasizing his extensive experience in the sector and the valuable contribution he will bring to the entire film and audiovisual industry.
Blandini himself welcomed this new challenge, reaffirming his commitment to supporting the growth of the Italian film industry, which he considers his greatest professional passion.
Chiara Sbarigia, President of APA (Associazione Produttori Audiovisivi), also congratulated Blandini on his appointment, stating: “I congratulate Gaetano Blandini on his appointment as Secretary General of ANICA and CEO of ANICA Servizi. I am confident that he will further strengthen the fruitful collaboration that has long united APA and ANICA in the promotion and enhancement of audiovisual productions.”
With a distinguished career in public administration, Blandini has held key positions, including Director General of Cinema at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Director General of SIAE for over a decade. He has also played a pivotal role in shaping major legislative reforms in the entertainment and copyright sectors.
Blandini brings a wealth of expertise and connections to Anica Servizi, further strengthening the Association’s role in Italy’s cultural and economic landscape.
