The fourth competition notice of ACM (World Cinema Support) has been published. Since 2012, ACM supports feature films co-produced with France. ACM Distribution was created in 2015 in collaboration with the EC’s MEDIA sub-programme of Creative Europe: this project supports production and international circulation of films co-produced with a non-European country.

ACM Distribution is open to European and International sales agents, producers and distributors and adopts innovative distribution strategies for ACM films in a minimum of three territories, including a European country which is not France and a non-European country.

Since December 2017, the notice will be open to every film co-produced with at least one MEDIA member territory and a non-European country: according to the regulation, the percentage of MEDIA producers must be between 25% and 70% for TV movies or animation movies, 20-70% for documentaries.

ACM Distribution supported fifteen films in the last three selection boards and it provided for the distribution of these works in more than ninety countries. One of the selected films is The Road To Mandalay by Chinese director Midi Z. The film was screened at MIA 2016.
