The 15th edition of the Festival de Cine Italiano de Madrid will take place, from November 23 to November 30, in Madrid, specifically in the Mk2 Cine Paz movie theatre and, for the rest of the country, partially online on the Italian Institute of Culture website.

This year, beside the usual selection of feature films, short movies and documentaries there will also be a section dedicated to younger audiences organized in collaboration with the prestigious Giffoni Film Festival, in particular in the Cinema section inside the Institute were arranged screenings for children aged three years and up, so-called Festival de Cine Italiano de Madrid for children.

There will be, as usual, a section dedicated to Classic Cinema, this year in particular dedicated to divas of the Italian cinema, which will consist of movies like La strada by Federico Fellini and The Pizza Triangle by Ettore Scola.

Screenings at the Festival de Cine Italiano de Madrid will be completely free of charge and accessible upon prior reservation and there will be, in addition, some premieres in original language with Spanish subtitles.

Among contemporary movies there will be Nostalgia by Mario Martone, Una Femmina by Francesco Costabile and Acqua e Anice by Corrado Ceron.

Organized by the Italian Institute of Culture, the Festival is promoted by the Italian Embassy of Spain and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
