Dicktatorship, the documentary presented at Doc Pitching Forum of MIA 2017 and premiered at the Biografilm Festival in Bologna on June 8th, 2019, will be released on June 10th, 2019.
The film by Gustav Hofer and Luca Ragazzi, in competition at the Biografilm Festival in Bologna, will be premiered on Saturday June 8th, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Cinema Jolly in Bologna. Dicktatorship will be released in cinemas on Monday 10th, 2019: the premiere, on June 10th, at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at Cinema Jolly in Rome.
The documentary produced by DocLab tells the story of Gustav and Luca, who have been living together for a long time. One day during breakfast Gustav start doubting that his partner is unexpectedly sexist. The two start a journey of social analysis through interviews with psychologists, sociologists, politicians, writers and common people, and realize that Italian society induces man, apparently open-minded, to be unintentionally sexist in the end.
