Opens today, October 3 2023, the second session of the call for proposals set up by the Veneto Region for the allocation of grants aimed at promoting and supporting audiovisual production linked to the territory.

With the aim of developing the audiovisual sector in Veneto, supporting companies operating in the field and enhancing the territory’s heritage, 5 million euros will be granted to production companies that will contribute a minimum expenditure in the territory of 200,000 euros for feature films, serial works and animation, or 20,000 euros for documentaries or short films or XR works.

The projects must be realised wholly or partly in Veneto, and are divided into Type A and B. The first group, comprising feature films of a minimum duration of 52 minutes, serial films of a minimum total duration of 90 minutes and animated films or series of at least 30 minutes, will have a budget of 4,600,000 euros. 400,000 euros, on the other hand, will be earmarked for works in group B, such as documentaries with a minimum running time of 30 minutes, short films of a maximum length of 30 minutes, and XR works, i.e. works in extended, virtual or augmented or mixed reality.
