Sky and Amazon have been awarded the TV rights to the UEFA Champions League from 2024 to 2027.

After the uncertainty of the past few days, the situation is now unblocked with Sky getting the rights for all matches in the Champions League calendar, except for the best match on Wednesday, which will instead remain exclusive to Amazon for another three years.

Sky’s deal includes streaming and TV rights. Amazon will retain the broadcast of the Wednesday match on Amazon Prime, as it has done since 2021.

The new arrangement is contextual to the transformation of the UEFA Champions League, where the change in the number of participating teams from 32 to 36 will lead to an increase in the number of matches played from 2024.
