Four people, four corners of the world, one common fate. Peter Pringle in Ireland, Marat Rakhmanov in Uzbekistan, Antoinette Chahine in Lebanon and Curtis Edward McCarty in the United States, all wrongly convicted to the death penalty and, after years of legal battles, finally declared innocent and released into the real world.
Trying hard to breathe, directed by Marco Speroni and produced by Nacne, follows the four stories of the ones who got out alive from the death row and of what it means having to reintegrate into a difficult and unknown society.
