Warner Bros. Discovery is confirmed as the top grossing distributor in Italy for the year 2023. A success analyzed in the Cinetel, Anica and Anec press conference, which saw a gross of about 100 million euros of the almost 500 total of the Italian ad hoc office.
The record was guaranteed thanks, among others, to the film Barbie released this summer in Italian theaters, but also thanks to Wonka, Creed III, The Nun II, Shark 2 – The Abyss and many others. Local productions, on the other hand, have also made a significant impact. Especially the latest Me contro Te film, which grossed an impressive 5 million euros at the Italian box office.
