The documentary The Rossellinis by Alessandro Rossellini is the closing event of the Venice Film Festival’s Critics’ Week, an independent and parallel section of the Venice International Film Festival.
The film is a portrait of the Rossellini family, produced by B&B Film, co-produced by VFS Film with Rai Cinema in association with Istituto Luce Cinecittà, with the support of MiBACT, Creative Media Europe, Regione Lazio, POR FESR Lazio 14-20, National Film Center of Latvia
“This film, born in a particular period of my life, is an opportunity to restore the authentic image of the family. In addition to the myth, there is a family with an intense and painful history, just like all the others”, as declared by the author.
The documentary was presented at the Mia Doc Pitching Forum 2018.
