Announced Showrunner Lab, the first Italian workshop dedicated to the role of showrunner.
The initiative, organized by Fondazione Sistema Toscana, Toscana Film Commission and Manifatture Digitali Cinema, in collaboration with Good Girls Planet & ITTV Forum&Festival of Los Angeles and PIN – Polo Universitario Città di Prato, is targeted at young high school graduates (aged 18 to 25) resident or domiciled in Italy with a passion for TV series.
The workshop, realized thanks to the contribution of the Special Projects call of the Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo – Italian Ministry of Culture, aims at promoting the role of showrunner and training young TV series enthusiasts to acquire notions and fundamental elements of the audiovisual market.
Showrunner Lab will be held at Manifatture Digitali Cinema in Prato from April 1 to June 19, 2022, for a total of 468 hours during which there will be meetings with industry professionals and weekend workshops with international showrunners and executives.
