Five new acquisitions for The Place, the last film by Paolo Genovese (Perfect Strangers), produced by Lotus Production and Medusa Film, world sales assigned to True Colours. The feature film, an adaptation of the tv show Booth at the End, has been acquired by Bodega Films (France), Paradiso (Belgium and Netherlands), Strada Films (Greece) and Il Sorpasso (Portugal). Starring a great cast (Valerio Mastandrea, Marco Giallini, Alba Rohrwacher, Vittoria Puccini, Rocco Papaleo, Silvio Muccino, Silvia D’Amico, Vinicio Marchioni, Alessandro Borghi, Sabrina Ferilli, Giulia Lazzarini), The Place tells the story of a man (Mastandrea) who sits everyday on a coffee table of a bar named The Place and listens to customers’ wishes, promising to grant them if they fulfill a mission he assigns. The film was part of What’s Next Italy (MIA|Cinema) 2017.
