The new schedule of Tv2000, the Italian Episcopal Conference broadcaster, was presented in Milan. Don Ivan Maffeis, The Director of the National Office for Social Communications of the IEC, has summed up the spirit of the next season: “There’s nothing humanly significant that must find us distracted”. Max Laudadio, former Iena and reporter of Striscia la Notizia, will host the programme called Mission Impossible: he will travel in the suburbs of the world such as Haiti, the Thai shantytowns or the hospitals for chronic diseases in Benin. “A smart glimpse of all the reality”, as the network Director Paolo Ruffini states, starting from the attention to the phenomenon of migrants in the programme Italiani anche noi, an art tale by writer Eraldo Affinati about what happens in the Italian-language schools for foreigners. Cous cous tv will focus on the integration to deepen an Arabic world which is unknown to most with special attention to eating habits. Then culture with Karamazov social club and Alto/Fragile by Franco Nembrini. Then art with La santa bellezza, a journey on Cristian art by Marko Rupnik, one of the most important living mosaicist. There will be new bold programmes such as Caro, virgola, a kind of video letter-selfie to send it to the Pope (or Trump), and Happy, about different happiness. The famous faces of the broadcaster, from Licia Colò to Monica Mondo and Piero Badaloni, will be accompanied by new entries such as Paola Saluzzi and Cesare Bocci. Finally, anti-movies and drama, “to show a new possible TV”, as Paolo Ruffini stated by showing the comforting TV ratings published yesterday: according to them, Tv2000 is among the first twenty channels watched in Italy and among the first seven in the morning.
