Jacopo Chessa, director of the Veneto Film Commission, will be the new president of the Italian Film Commissions Association. With him, several internal institutional positions were renewed in the orso of the Association’s Assembly: Alessandra Miletto, director of the Film Commission Vallée d’Aoste, and Fabio Abagnato, director of the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission will be the new vice presidents.

This is what the newly elected said: “We thank the outgoing Coordination, Cristina Priarone (president), Maurizio Gemma and Paolo Manera (vice presidents) and Tina Bianchi (secretary general) for the work done; we also thank the IFC Assembly for supporting us. The film commission system in Italy occupies a fundamental space in the contemporary audiovisual world. We have months of intense work ahead of us to consolidate IFC’s achievements over the years and to keep up with new challenges of renewal. We start working with the desire to collaborate with all the subjects that make Italian cinema great.”
