The Man Who Stole Banksy, the new docufilm on street art and so much more.

Marco Proserpio makes his debut as a film director with his new project The Man Who Stole Banksy, which cast we will find Iggy Pop, and that has been produced by Marco Proserpio and Rai Cinema. The film has raised a great interest in the international scene. In fact, its distribution rights have been recently purchased by Atlantic Film for Finland and by Njutafilms for Sweden.

The film tells the story, in 2007, of how Banksy and his team entered the Occupied Territories and painted a portion of the wall between the Gaza Strip and Israel. The Palestinians, however, did not appreciate the visit and, equipped with milling machines, removed the piece of wall where the painting was with the clear objective of reselling it to the highest bidder.
