New original ideas, talents and production companies from the independent Italian industry: this and much more during the MIA|DOC panel.

On the occasion of the panel La creatività italiana per i mercati internazionali – Format and original TV programs, an audience of international buyers had the opportunity to discover the first Showcase of Factual Original Format “Made in Italy”, this year focused on the genre Arts & Culture and Human Interest. Many protagonists of the audiovisual industry were present, such as Riccardo Chiattelli (Content and Communication Director, EFFE Tv) and Riccardo Mastropietro (CEO and Art Director, Pesci Combattenti). Raffaele Brunetti (B&B Film) said that “the real challenge is to experiment with new ways of storytelling”, while Marco Cingoli spoke about Palomar’s future projects, announcing that in the coming months ‘Il Supplente’ will come back on Rai 2, a new way of talking about school and stimulating students. Chiara Maria Salvo claimed the young age of her company (Kimera Produzioni), whose primary objective is to sell its products abroad and challenge the public opinion in its deep-rooted prejudices.
