New agreement between BiM and Lucky Red: the commercial department of the production company founded by Andrea Occhipinti will take care of the distribution of Bim films.
The two companies will, however, both maintain their independence with regard to advertising and editorial direction.
This agreement marks the latest step in a collaboration that began in August 2021, when the two companies announced that they wanted to develop a harmonious film distribution system with the aim of strengthening and energising the Italian film sector.
In these three years, this agreement between Lucky Red and BiM has led to the screening in Italian theatres of several titles from film festivals around the world: among them Close by Lukas Dhont in 2022 and Monster by Hirokazu Kore-eda and Fallen Leaves by Aki Kaurismäki in 2023.
