The 16th edition of IDS – Italian Doc Screening, an event conceived and produced by the National Association of Italian Documentary Filmmakers, Doc/it, will take place November 25-28, 2022 in Turin as part of the 5th edition of Torino Film Industry.

IDS is a collaborative space for advanced training for authors and producers, as well as a time for networking and updating on new trends and developments in the field of documentary filmmaking. Furthermore, it fosters the birth and growth of projects in the field, responding to the current demands of the global market.

The Academy section of IDS is dedicated to documentary filmmakers and is held in collaboration with Film Commission Torino Piemonte, in synergy with the Torino Film Industry program. Authors and filmmakers in search of a producer will have access to intensive training days that will end with a public presentation session of their projects in front of experts whom, later, they will have a chance to meet in one-to-one appointments.
