The undisputed stars of the 75th edition of the Emmys were undoubtedly Succession and The Bear, which won most of the awards in their categories, along with Beef, which took home five statuettes.

Specifically, Succession won six awards: best drama series, best lead actress (Sarah Snook), best lead actor (Kieran Culkin), best director (Mark Mylod), best screenplay (Jesse Armstrong) and best supporting actor (Matthew MacFadyen). The same goes for the DisneyPlus series The Bear: best comedy series, best lead actor (Jeremy Allen White), best supporting actress (Ayo Edebiri), best supporting actor (Ebom Moss-Bachrach), best director (Christopher Storer) and best screenplay (Christopher Storer).

The ceremony, which this year was held later than usual due to the strikes that have brought Hollywood to a halt in recent months, featured the stars of last season’s most popular series. Among them were also Italian Sabrina Impacciatore and Simona Tabasco, who participated in the last season of the series White Lotus, winning not only an Emmy nomination but also great public and critical acclaim.

During the ceremony, among others, Matthew Perry, the lead actor of the cult TV series Friends who passed away recently, was remembered.
