Tess wrote the hit rom-com Man Up (Big Talk/Studio Canal/BBC Films), directed by Ben Palmer and starring Simon Pegg and Lake Bell. Her US TV credits include the Emmy-nominated and WGA-winning Only Murders In The Building, The Great, and Casual.

In UK television, Tess is currently developing rom-com Textbook Behaviour with Complete Fiction, a rom-com series with Left Bank, and a rom-com/crime with Moonage Pictures (although she is available for other genres).

She is also co-writing the road trip movie Together, Wendy, alongside Laura Barton for Turbine Studios and a major streamer. Tess has also done numerous film rewrites – both in the UK and the US – as well as working in radio as a presenter and contributor on various BBC shows and podcasts.

She currently resides in London, Brooklyn, or LA, depending on when you ask her, alongside her two senior cats, Big Girl and Magic Mike.
