Paolo Del Brocco, manager, journalist, and adjunct professor at various universities, is the CEO of Rai Cinema. He is a member of the Management Committee of the National Museum of Cinema in Turin, a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the European Film Academy (EFA), and also serves on the Board of Directors of U.S. Lecce.
He has served on several international film festival juries over the past few years and has been listed in Variety500 since 2017. Under his leadership, Rai Cinema has co-produced more than 920 films and 565 Italian documentaries, becoming the leading Italian production company and earning numerous awards, including David di Donatello awards for Best Film, Best Director, and Best Producer, prestigious recognitions at major film festivals, and two Academy Award nominations in recent years.
Under Rai Cinema’s direction, 01 Distribution has successfully brought both Italian and international titles to theaters, establishing a significant presence in the Italian film distribution market.
