New Europe’s catalogue includes such international arthouse hits, as Lamb (Cannes Un Certain Regard 2021, A24 release), Oscar nominated Corpus Christi (2020), Rams (Prix Un Certain Regard in Cannes 2015), Summer 1993 (Berlinale Best Debut 2017), Godland (2022), Housekeeping for Beginners (Venice 2023, Focus Features & Universal release) and The Peasants (TIFF 2023, a Sony Pictures Classics Release) from the makers of the Oscar-nominated Loving Vincent. New Europe has a slate of family animations and picks up 1-2 animations per year and yes, we still do ca. 5 short films a year, carefully selected from the top festivals and on a regular basis we follow our short filmmakers into the feature film world – both as sales agents and seed-funders of their feature projects. We love to be in close touch and nurture new talents. New Europe is also active in the development and financing of projects as a seed-funding development partner, both through our sister company, New Europe Productions, and for other producers.
