After several years working in production at 2.4.7 Films and Moonshaker, Jason Bressand quickly transitioned to international film sales in 2018.

Following four years at Alfama Films under the mentorship of veteran producer Paulo Branco, he joined Goodfellas in 2022. There, he helped develop Goodfellas Animation, a dedicated structure within the company specialising in the international sales of animated films. Alongside Livia Van Der Staay, he serves as Head of Sales & Acquisitions for the animation division.

A lifelong enthusiast of animation, Jason has rapidly established himself as one of the rising figures in the field. Among the titles he has successfully sold worldwide are the two Oscar contenders Arco and Little Amélie, Mamoru Oshii’s acclaimed Angel’s Egg, and more recently Lucy Lost, which premiered in the Official Selection at Cannes.

Jason’s focus remains clear: championing bold, auteur-driven animated films with strong emotional resonance — stories capable of captivating both children and adults alike.
