Donata von Perfall is Managing Director and shareholder of Documentary Campus. Since joining the organisation in 2001, she has played a key role in its development into an internationally recognised institution for professional training, industry events and networking, while helping to shape the European documentary and factual media landscape.

She is the initiator of the SILBERSALZ Science & Media Festival, held annually in Halle (Saale), Germany, and is responsible for Documentary Campus’ successful collaborations with leading international industry organisations, including the World Congress of Science & Factual Producers (WCSFP) and Sunny Side of the Doc.

Her latest initiative is the launch of DCampus, a new and unique European platform that expands the reach of Documentary Campus’ leading training programme for documentary and factual filmmakers, the Documentary Campus Masterschool.
