Firstly trained as a photographer, Delphine Tomson obtained her diploma at the École Supérieure des Arts de Saint-Luc in Liège in 2001. After her studies, she joined the production company Les Films du Fleuve as a production assistant.

She became a production accountant from 2005 to 2007, then an executive producer from 2008 to 2019. Since 2020, she has been the producer of Les Films du Fleuve alongside directors and producers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne.
