Claire O’Brien is Development Director of Global Scripted Series at Universal Global Television, a division of Universal Studios Group.

Based in London, she works across the studio’s broad slate of premium scripted series in the United Kingdom and Europe, including the upcoming series The Dream Lands, co-produced with Sister for the BBC and based on Rosa Rankin-Gee’s novel; the third season of Heyday Television’s The Capture for the BBC; and the Channel 4 drama The Siege, produced by AC Chapter One and co-produced with Universal Global Television and ARTE France.

Prior to joining Universal Global Television, Claire spent five years at Netflix, where she oversaw productions across EMEA from the company’s hubs in Amsterdam and Stockholm.
