The recent querelle with the Cannes film festival has not stopped Netflix, who on the contrary has announced not only the creation of a new customers hub in Amsterdam where 400 new staff will be hired by 2018, but also increased investments on European original projects.

Since 2012 Netflix has invested 1.75 billion dollars on European projects, producing seven series so far: the French Marseille, the English The Crown, the Spanish Las Chicas del Cable ( whose second seasons are already in production), the German Dark, due by the end of the year like the Italian Suburra and, as recently announced, the German Dogs of Berlin and the French Osmosis, whose launches are due in 2018.
