Sergio Manfio‘s animated short film, “Un amico raro”  wins the Rare Diseases Award for the category “Communication” at the Forum Sistema Salute.

The Rare Diseases Award is a project that comes from the cooperation between Uniamo – Federazione Italiana Malattie Rare and Koncept srl in 2021, with the aim of supporting and enhancing innovative projects and initiatives in favor of people living with rare diseases.

“Un amico raro” – made by AIAF together with the Multidisciplinary Group for Metabolic Diseases of the Adult AOU of Padua, co-produced by Gruppo Alcuni, Rai Ragazzi and Cosmos Maya – has been chosen among the 40 finalist projects of the first edition of the Rare Diseases Award.

The special episode of the animated series “Leo Da Vinci” was created with the aim of sensitizing the new generations to Anderson-Fabry Disease.
