In the evening of today, 26 September 2024, the four new members of the Rai board of directors were voted in the Italian Parliament.
The parliamentary appointments are in addition to the proposals for Rai made by the Italian Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti this morning to the Council of Ministers, namely Simona Agnes and Giampaolo Rossi.
With regard to the remaining four appointments due to Parliament, in the Chamber of Deputies Federica Frangi was appointed with 174 votes and Roberto Natale with 45 votes.
In the Senate of the Republic, on the other hand, Antonio Marano and Alessandro di Majo were elected, with 97 and 27 votes respectively.
