PiperFilm and Eagle Pictures announce a strategic partnership for international film distribution and Home Video rights management, aiming to strengthen the presence of Italian cinema abroad. The agreement provides for PiperFilm to handle the international distribution of Eagle Pictures’ films and for Eagle Pictures to manage the Home Video rights of PiperFilm’s catalog, starting with Paolo Sorrentino’s “Parthenope.”
The EFM in Berlin will serve as the first testing ground for this collaboration, featuring titles such as “Il ragazzo dai pantaloni rosa” by Margherita Ferri, a major hit last season, “Fatti vedere” by Tiziano Russo, set for release on February 6, “Leopardi & Co.” by Federica Biondi, and “Dedalus” by Gianluca Manzetti.
Massimiliano Orfei, CEO of PiperFilm, and Andrea Goretti, CEO of Eagle Pictures, expressed their satisfaction with the agreement, highlighting their shared vision of innovation and independence. With this alliance, the two companies strengthen their market position, promoting the international reach of Italian cinema.
